, I got to do my Frosty nails! I have been meaning to do these for weeks now and everytime I sit down to do them some sort of mini disaster happens and my plan flies out the window. So. Last night I sat my butt in chair and would not let myself get up until they were done! Naturally, I was having another nail catastrophe last night. I literally painted my nails 10 times and kept getting little fuzzes on them that were driving me
Then I broke the tip off of one and had to do some acrylic sculpting magic. Once I finally got them all painted and ready for characters I was tired and annoyed but I did them anyways. They’re here. They’re done. And I’m so happy!
On my middle finger is Frosty, of course, the little white rabbit on my ring finger, Santa on my thumb, and some black and white snowflakes!
I just got some of the KBShimmer Christmas polishes in the other day and I was in love with Snow Way. It might just be one of my favorite polishes ever. I thought that it would be the perfect base for these because it would give a snow effect in the background. Well, I was wrong. The glitters were too chunky to paint over and none of my lines were coming out clean so off it went! I went with Essie Borrowed & Blue instead which is one of my favorite baby blue polishes.
The bottle of Snow Way was staring me down the whole time I was painting these and just dying to be used. And then the wonderful idea clicked in my head…use it on your right hand, duhhh.
Oh.my.god. OBSESSED. They were getting a little too bumpy because took 4 coats to get them completely opaque so next time I think i’ll use a base underneath. But OMG I love it! I want to paint everything with it! It’s literally like snow in a bottle.
Now me and Frosty are off for the day!
